Pinot Noir and Chardonnay King Valley, N/V, 12% The nose was buttery with some rotting vegetables.  The slightly pink wine had masses of small delicate bubbles..  In the mouth the flavour was huge, crisp and with hints of lemon.  The length was very good  £9.99     14/20
       
Pinot Gris, Victoria, 2002, 13.5% This was a dry, well balanced wine with some citrus and almond paste on the nose.  A hint of grapefruit came through on the taste and the long finish  was satisfying  £6.99  13.5/20
       
Dry Muscat, South East Australia, 2003, 13.5% This wine was very pale with  some peach, apricot and orange on the nose.  The flavour was light and refreshing with a dry, long, finish - an elegant wine  £5.49  14.5/20
       
Family Reserve Chardonnay, King Valley, 1997, 14% The wine was a wonderful pale  yellow colour with that typical buttery nose.  Although very slightly maderised, the wine was quite drinkable (12 months too old?).  £10.99 12/20
       
Tarrango, South East Australia, 2003, 13% The nose held a scent of cherries and this came through as marachino cherries in the mouth.  The wine appeared smoother after a few minutes in the glass.  A good aperetif  £5.99 12/20
       
Barbera, King Valley, 2000, 14.5% A dark wine with fruity oak on the nose.  The balance was excellent and the wine was full, complex and smooth in the mouth.  A luscious finish completed the experience  £4.99 16/20
       
Cabernet Sauvignon, Victoria, 2000, 14% The colour was a dark cherry red and the nose was of smokey berries.  The wine was well balanced, powerful, full, and complex with a long smooth finish.  £7.99 16/20
       
Nebbiolo, King Valley, 2000, 14% The colour was a brick red with brown tinges suggesting that the wine would not keep for the 10 years suggested..  An interesting nose of  pepper.  The flavours were complex with fruit and spices.  The finish was smooth and quite long.  £5.99  14.5/20
       
Late Harvest Muscat, 2002, 11% A lovely sweet white wine to finish with oranges on the nose.  The flavour was refreshing with oranges and lemon fruit.  The finish was long and very soft.  A very good pudding wine  £5.99 16.5/20
